Triathlon Career

Maddy’s 2019 race results include a 6th place finish at Ironman Santa Rosa 70.3, 4th place at Challenge Cancun 113k, 7th place at Ironman Steelhead 70.3, and 1st place at Challenge San Gil 113k. She qualified for her first Professional Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France where she finished 32nd on Sep 7th, 2019. Maddy began competing in triathlons in 2013 as a way to cross train in the summer for her winter college swimming season. She started working with Siri Lindley, her first coach, in 2017. During that season, Maddy won the 24 and under National Age Group Olympic Distance Championship and followed that up with a silver medal at the 20-24 ITU Age Group Standard World Championships. She made her pro debut in 2018, transitioning from Olympic to Half Ironman distance that year.
